I'm a product-obsessed founder who has been building things on the internet since I was twelve, from CULPA and ExitStrategy NYC to co-founding Timehop, which reached 25 million people. Here's what has my attention right now.
Building at South Park Commons
I'm currently building at South Park Commons, which lets me spend my time on the part of company-building I love most: exploring new ideas at the earliest stage. After co-founding Timehop, joining Snapchat's product team, and most recently running an AirPods entertainment studio, I'm back at the blank-page phase, looking for the next product worth making.
Writing about building products
After almost three decades of shipping things online, I've started sharing what I've learned along the way. I'm writing about building products, growing companies, and navigating the startup world, including the harder calls, like deciding to wrap up a project after three years even when it raised money and had a great team.
Optimizing the small stuff at home
My product obsession doesn't switch off when I leave work. Lately that has shown up in smaller projects, like putting together a home gear list for my place in Los Angeles and tinkering with my own version of a community breakfast pudding recipe. I enjoy figuring out the little details that make everyday life run a bit better.
